AMHA Initiation - Atom Development Philosophy

To offer additional development / learning opportunities to enhance and improve the fundamental skills required to play and enjoy the game at all levels of competition. AMHA offers the majority of its development programming to its Initiation and Atom divisions. The philosophy is to give each player the best chance to establish a strong foundation & competency of the core skills at a young age. AMHA program offerings adhere to the Long Term Athlete Development Model and parallel the Hockey Canada Skills Pyramid.
