PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES:
Upon completion of online registration, payment must be provided to AMHA by August 1st.
AMHA accepts payment in form of e-Transfers
"Returning Player" will be defined as a player who was registered with AMHA in the immediate preceding season. This includes players considered "Return to Home Association" by PCAHA and BC Hockey.
It is the parent's responsibility to understand how participation in non-sanctioned hockey will affect membership with AMHA.
Registration for returning players will be done online. Online registration will be active from May 30th at 9AM to June 9th at 11:59PM.
RETURNING PLAYERS:
Registration for returning players will be completed online.
- PLEASE ENSURE TO CHECK OUT TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION
- Returning players who do not register online by 11:59PM, June 9th will no longer hold the status of a "Returning Player" and will be required to register as a new member at open registration on a first come, first serve basis.
- Upon completion of registration, full payment is due August 1st by e-transfer only.
RETURNING GOALTENDERS:
- The number of goaltenders that will be registered to AMHA for the 2025/20256 season will be based on the number of teams fielded.
- Maximum of two goaltenders per team throughout all division will be the final number of goaltenders accepted, with the exception of the U18 division.
- Registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
- Returning goaltenders may be placed on a waitlist should space not be available.
- Goaltenders will be released off the waitlist, onto teams, on a first come, first serve basis.
- Returning goaltenders who do not register online by 11:59PM, June 9th, will no longer hold the status of a "Returning Player" and will be required to register as a new player at open registration, on a first come, first serve basis.
- Upon completion of online registration, full payment is due August 1st.
COMPLETING ONLINE REGISTRATION:

- New Users will be required to create an account

New players in the U7 and U9 age group (born 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020) will have the opportunity to register prior to older aged players. ONLY players born in these years are eligible, NO EXCEPTIONS.

- Unlimited Transfer Card Request Form (Only for Permanent Residents)
Returning U18 players who will be attending Hockey Canada sanctioned Above Minor camps, and would like a spot held for them, must purchase the Hold Fee.
Hold Fee is designed to act as a method of "insurance" so that if a player finds they need to return to AMHA, there is a spot that has been held. This DOES NOT mean they are guaranteed a spot on a rep team, it does mean they WILL NOT be placed on a waitlist.
- Only players who have paid the HOLD FEE will have a spot reserved until January 10th.
- Up to, and including, November 1st - players will be allowed to return to the association, whether they have been released or decided not to continue with Above Minor and attend tryouts for their age level REP team.
- After November 1st, up to and including January 10th, a player who quits Above Minor will not be eligible to play either on a REP team or "C" team for his division but will be moved to the U21 team (if space is available).
- After November 1st up to and including January 10th, players who have paid the HOLD FEE will be allowed to return to AMHA and play on their age level rep team, if they have been released from a Above Minor team. (maximum 19 players rostered; including 2 goalies)
- Players who have paid a hold fee must pay the full pro-rated registration fee plus the pro-rated carding fee for the balance of the season. Players who return prior to the last Saturday in September will also pay a pro-rated tryout fee.
- Released players are required to notify AMHA within 48 hours with their intent to return. Failing to do so, will result in forfeit of the hold fee.
- Returning players who have not paid the hold fee will be placed to the C division (if space permits) and will be required to pay pro-rated registration fee (7 months September - March).
- Players must contact Registrar PRIOR to going on the ice.
- The AMHA endeavors to accommodate all players returning to the AMHA to maintain continuity in their minor hockey experience however, when players choose to leave the AMHA for Above Minor and/or Sport School opportunities then AMHA must conduct business in the best interest of its current active members.

- Payment of the Hold Fee only is required at me of online registration. Please do not send payment for registration fees or rep tryout fees when paying the Hold Fee.

- Registered players will have the option to convert to and purchase the Hold Fee up until 24 hours before AMHA Tryouts start. Please note, in order to exercise this option, players MUST be registered with AMHA.

- After September 15th, should space permit, the player would enter into the AMHA tryout procedure as per AMHA Tryout Guidelines.

International Student:

- Letter of support from previous association, if available
- Letter of support from AMHA (provided)
- Letter from parents requesting permission to participate
- Copy of student visa
- Proof of medical coverage
- School registration or confirmation letter from school
- Proof of residence - 2 pieces

Work Visa:
These situations involve non-Canadian parents who are residing in Canada on a long term work permit (e.g. embassy or consulate employees, professional athletes, international corporation employees here for a specific job or time frame). The parents must provide a copy of the appropriate work visa.
